Disable the intro ?

I remember back in the old days playing Battlefield Vietnam, that somehow the Intro was disabled. The EA, DICE.. Everything.


Any way of doing that in BF:2 ? Would work great when joining with gamespy for example, you don't have to wait for the intro to start, so that you can push any button to skip it.

Any tips? Patches ?

You just need to rename the movie files to .old instead of .bik. You can delete them but its best to rename the extension. Will load straight to the loggin.

Why oh why go to all that trouble - just modify your shortcut and add +restart 1 - that's it - no more intro movies.

And while you are at it - add +username YOURUSERNAME +playerPassword YOURPLAYERPASSWORD so you don't have to go through the account login screen.
